President Mohamed Nasheed has reappointed the Land Valuation Committee. Minister of Housing and Environment Mohamed Aslam was appointed as the Chairperson of the committee.
The Land Valuation Committee will determine the prices at which government owned properties will be sold, and will advise the government on any issues regarding the sale and taxation on government owned land, or mortgaged property.
