National Awards Committee has said that two individuals will be conferred the National Award of Honour, and that thirteen individuals and one corporation will be conferred the National Award of Recognition.
The recipients of National Award of Honour and National Award of Recognition will be conferred the awards, at a special function held on the evening of 27 November at Dharubaaruge. President Mohamed Nasheed will present the awards to all the recipients.
Recipients of National Award of Honour will receive a shield of honour and a badge, while the recipients of National Award of Recognition receive a commemorative plaque and a certificate.
