The National Awards Committee has announced the closing of nominations for the President's National Award for Special Achievement at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024. The Special Awards Committee advises all applicants to adhere to the guidelines for document submission and attest both sides of all written pages within the submission documents during the application process.
This year's awards encompass four distinct categories. The first category is specifically focused on recognising individuals who have achieved notable accomplishments in higher education and training. The second category is designed to honour individuals who have performed exceptionally or attained the highest position in an international competition or exhibition. The third category focuses explicitly on individuals who have showcased innovation and entrepreneurship by developing practical solutions or presenting outstanding resolutions through their academic research on significant national challenges. The final category would recognise and honour exceptionally talented young individuals who have demonstrated remarkable creativity and innovation in their respective fields of expertise, positively impacting the progress and development of the nation.
The President's National Award for Special Achievement will be presented at the official function to mark Republic Day.
