The President renames "Malé Hospitals Board of Trustees" as "Malé City Group of Hospitals' Governing Board"

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu officially renamed the "Malé Hospitals Board of Trustees" as the "Malé City Group of Hospitals' Governing Board" on Tuesday. This governing board is responsible for the management of Dharumavantha Hospital, Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Hulhumalé Hospital, and Villimalé Hospital.

The Malé City Group of Hospitals' Governing Board will be administratively overseen under the purview of the Ministry of Health. This change initiated by the President signifies a reconstitution of the governing board.
