Vice President meets with the South African Ambassador

Vice President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today met with Ms B.M. Pheto, the Ambassador of South Africa to the Maldives.

During the meeting, Vice President Dr Waheed and Ambassador Pheto discussed the challenges that the government was facing in the areas of development. African Ambassador also assured that the Maldives would continue to receive African assistance in these areas.

Vice president and the Ambassador agreed that both governments will work closely with each other to strengthen relation between the countries.
