The President’s Office and CSTI hold sixth session of the "Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme 2021-2023"

The President’s Office on Wednesday held the sixth session of the "Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme 2021-2023." Organised jointly by the Public Service Training Unit, Cabinet Office of the President’s Office and the Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI), the session was held at the Central Auditorium of Maldives National University (MNU).

Titled "Creating and leading a Growth Environment-Secrets to Excellence," the session was facilitated by Mr Hussain Afeef, a keynote speaker and an executive coach and mentor. He is the President of the Maldives Association of HR Professionals (MAHRP) and a coach and speaker of the John Maxwell Team.

The session, attended by executive-level officials from government offices, independent institutions and state-owned enterprises, focused on developing a culture of active learning and the importance of growth mindsets. The lecture also emphasised how public service institutions and their leaders can drive the mandate of growth mindsets and the power of taking personal responsibility in a growth culture.

The Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme 2021-2023 was officially launched by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on December 27, 2021. Under this programme, the President’s Office and the Civil Service Training Institute host a series of lectures to improve the skills and capabilities of political and executive-level staff in public offices. Local and international experts in relevant fields facilitate the sessions in this two-year training programme.
